The Show

You have heard many Irish stories before, but none of the secrets of Belfast. Local storytellers, musicians and dancers take you on a journey through the Belfast linen mills, tobacco and whiskey distilleries, onto the Titanic and over to the original harp festival. Hear poetry from Henry Joy McCracken, and songs that transport you to the unique landscapes of Northern Ireland.
Our dancers are lead performers from Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, with the sound of feet and movement of bodies carefully choreographed in sync with the traditional Irish music.
As we say in Ireland, Cead Mìle Failte, or a hundred thousand welcomes. By the end of the show, our audiences are old friends as we share in the traditional brush dance from the west coast of Ireland, and sing songs that you’ll be humming all the way home.

Ciaran Connolly
Owner/Creative Director
Ciaran Connolly, hailing from New Zealand, received training from his mother’s Irish dancing school where he still serves as a teaching artist & dancing coach. At a young age he was always looking for the opportunity to express himself creatively; for him, that was dance.
He landed his first major role with Riverdance, which lead him to Lord of the Dance, where he performed the principal lead role and dance captain. He worked alongside Michael Flatley in the Feet of Flames and Celtic Tiger’s creative team. He was also a part of the creative team for Stormforce, Titanic Dance and Footstorm (Prodijig). He is now the head choreographer for Irish Celtic.
As he continued to explore other forms of expression, he shifted toward contemporary dance, which brought him to Eiru dance company (Dublin), Marrow dance company (L.A) and then on to his latest venture as an aerialist with Fidget Feet aerial dance company.
In between all of this, Ciaran spent time in London, Las Vegas and New Zealand working as an event manager for numerous years.
